My soul is thirsting for You, O Lord my God!

“O God, You are my God whom I seek; for You my flesh pines and my soul thirsts like the earth, parched, lifeless and without water.”
Whether we know it or not, we thirst for God. We need time with Jesus so He can transform us and make us whole again. Time spent with Jesus can conquer the darkness of our hearts with the brightness of His love. He can truly lift us up! As we continue to journey in this year of the Eucharist, I am excited to share with you exciting opportunities centered on the Eucharist that will quench the thirst of God within you…

1.) Eucharistic Devotions Weekend – November 17-19
Come adore Jesus all weekend. Begins on the 17th at 9:00 a.m. with school Mass and ends with Evening Prayer and Benediction at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th. This year’s speaker will be Fr. Samuel Leonard, IVE.

2.) Bl. Carlo Acutis Eucharistic Miracles Exhibition – November 17-19
Come to the Memorare Center and enter into the many Eucharistic Miracles that have happened throughout the world. More details here.

3.) Advent Women’s Morning of Reflection – December 2 – 8:15 a.m. to Noon

4.) 9 Nights of Night Prayer – November 30 to December 8
Join the diocese in praying Night Prayer at 8:15 p.m. in our church nine nights in a row. On December 8, come to the Memorare Center after prayer for an ice cream social.

5.) Sunday Night Prayer – Beginning December 10 to Easter
Come to the church on Sundays from 7:00-7:30 p.m. and pray Night Prayer. We will remain in silent prayer and close with Benediction.

6.) Thursday Eucharistic Prayer Evening – Advent to Easter
After 6:30 p.m. Mass on Thursdays, please join in 30 minutes of prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament
with Benediction. Each week will focus on specific prayer intentions…
i. 1st Thursday: Prayer for Healing
ii. 2nd Thursday: Prayer for Priests
iii. 3rd Thursday: Prayer for Parish Families
iv. 4th Thursday: Prayer for Life

7.) Adoration with Prayer for Our Students –Advent to Easter
One Monday each month – 1:30-2:00 p.m. – We invite all parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family members to pray for our students in our day school, PSR and homeschool communities. We will celebrate the Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

The Lord has blessed us with many opportunities to pray with Him. Prayerfully discern what God is calling you to partake in during this season of Eucharistic Revival.
