Children’s Liturgy of the Word is held at the 11:00 am Mass on most Sundays, starting the Sunday after Labor Day and ending in the beginning of May. No registration is required.
Children's Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for children in preschool through second grade to hear the Sunday Gospel proclaimed and explained at their level. Once a child enters second grade and is preparing for their First Holy Communion it is appropriate that they remain in the Church for the entire Mass. Children go to Mass with their families, then they are dismissed before the First Reading. The catechist accompanies the children to the Memorare Center, where they meet until the conclusion of the homily. All children are welcome to join us! Parents are welcome to accompany their children to help them get acclimated to the ministry.
