Bishop Malesic issued the following decrees on the status of Immaculate Conception parish in Kenmore on March 17, 2026. They declare that Immaculate Conception parish will close, it will merge with St. Francis de Sales, and the church building can be used for profane (secular or non-religious, but not sordid) use. St. Francis de Sales is deeply saddened by the loss this means for the people of Immaculate Conception Parish. We are ready to welcome any parishioners from Immaculate Conception into our parish family and help them settle into a new spiritual home.
